सूर्यं हतप्रभं पश्य ग्रहमर्दं मिथो दिवि
ससङ्कुलैर्भूतगणैर्ज्वलिते इव रोदसी
sūryaṁ hata-prabhaṁ paśya
graha-mardaṁ mitho divi
sasaṅkulair bhūta-gaṇair
jvalite iva rodasī

sūryam — el Sol; hata-prabham — con sus rayos menguando; paśya — tan sólo mira; graha-mardam — choques de estrellas; mithaḥ — entre sí; divi — en el cielo; sa-saṅkulaiḥ — estando mezclado con; bhūta-gaṇaiḥ — por las entidades vivientes; jvalite — siendo encendido; iva — como si; rodasī — llorando;
TRADUCCION
 | Los rayos del Sol están menguando, y las estrellas parecen estar peleando entre sí. Entidades vivientes confusas parecen estar ardiendo y llorando.
